From Complexity to Clarity: How Harman Automotive Scaled Digital Transformation Through Process Discipline
In an industry where speed, traceability, and precision are non-negotiable, Harman Automotive is setting a new standard for digital transformation. In this session, Dylan Neal and Britni Teufel, CM2-certified leaders at Harman, will share how the company redefined its global operations by implementing a CM2-enabled digital thread, tightly integrated with a product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
Rather than automating chaos, Harman took a process-first approach—focusing on problem identification, change control integrity, and clarity of execution. The result: a unified global foundation that improves quality, accelerates responsiveness, and ensures every change delivers value.
Since going live in 2023, Harman has measured Millions in Cost of Quality savings, increased the efficiency of Product Change by 20%, and enabled a data foundation for the enterprise.
This session will reveal how operational discipline, lifecycle visibility, and CM2 methodology turned a complex digital initiative into a transformative enterprise capability. Attendees will gain a clear, real-world blueprint for how to build a scalable digital foundation that actually performs—with measurable impact on speed, collaboration, and product quality.
