Mark Koch, a Detroit native and graduate of Northwood University, is a renowned film producer and founder of Prelude Pictures. He rose to prominence in Hollywood with major box office successes like Lost in Space and Black Dog, before stepping away at the height of his career to focus on family and faith. Koch later collaborated with Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions to help market The Passion of the Christ, building nationwide partnerships that contributed to its record-breaking success. He went on to produce The Perfect Game, a critically acclaimed film based on a true story, and authored The First Hour, a men’s devotional with over 500,000 copies distributed. After relaunching Prelude Pictures in 2024, Koch is now developing a new slate of message-driven feature films, including Our Father, set for production in 2026.
