
Michael Lanigan
Michael “Mike” Lanigan is an American entrepreneur and motorsports team owner who is a co-owner of the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team . He founded a division of his family’s Mi-Jack Products company in the 1970s and later expanded into auto racing, co-owning teams in Champ Car and IndyCar. Lanigan’s ownership stakes have yielded major victories, including the 2007 Champ Car championship (with driver Sébastien Bourdais) and the 2020 Indianapolis 500 win with Takuma Sato . He also leads the Lanco Group conglomerate and has been instrumental in various industrial and transportation ventures .
