Terry Lingner is an Emmy Award-winning television producer and co-owner of INNOVATIVE, a creative media production agency . With a career spanning five decades, Lingner has produced and directed a wide range of high-profile broadcasts – from the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR races to the Winter Olympic Games and network television specials . In the 1980s he was instrumental in building ESPN’s motorsports coverage (earning ESPN the moniker “Worldwide Leader in Sports”) and more recently served as a producer for IndyCar broadcasts on NBC Sports . Lingner has won six Emmy Awards for his work and has been honored with Indiana’s Sagamore of the Wabash award for his contributions to sports media .
